Dodo Arslan è un designer eclettico, italiano di origini armene, annoverato da Taschen tra i 90 designers e produttori leader al mondo. In venti anni di attività la sua creatività ha dato vita a pezzi unici così come a produzioni di serie, spaziando da apparati elettronici a pezzi in fusione di bronzo. Lo Studio è specializzato nel design di mobili, luci e complement d’arredo, sviluppati con eccellenti artigiani e ditte. Dodo Arslan ha collaborato con Banca Svizzera Italiana, Bimota, Campari, Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, Jacuzzi, Pirelli, Riva 1920, Sambonet e Terzani. Arslan ha vinto il premio Young&Design, il Mini Design Award, il concorso Pirelli Pzero e l’Art Directors Club ed i suoi prodotti sono stati esposti in vari musei collezioni e fondazioni in tutto il mondo. La Triennale gli ha dedicato la mostra “Le Attrazioni della Materia” ed incluso la poltrona Otto nella Collezione Permanente del Design Italiano. Ha realizzato alcuni pezzi in edizione limitata ed esemplari unici, battuti dalle prestigiose case d’asta Sotheby’s e Pierre Bergé & Associés. Ha tenuto corsi, workshops e lectures in facoltà di design in Italia, Argentina, Brasile, Cile, Croazia, Egitto, Inghilterra e Svezia.

Dodo Arslan is an eclectic Italian designer, esteemed by Taschen as one of the 90 top designers and firms worldwide, living and working between Miami and Milan. In twenty years of activity his creativity gave birth to unique pieces as well as serial productions, ranging from electronic devices to bronze fusions. The Studio is specialized in furniture, light and accessories design, developed with excellent craftmen and brands, and assists the best architects and interior designers, conceiving and realizing bespoke solutions (both for residential and contract) as well as unique light and design-art installations.

Dodo Arslan collaborated with Banca Svizzera Italiana, Bimota, Campari, Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, Jacuzzi, Pirelli, Riva 1920, Sambonet and Terzani. Arslan has been awarded the Young&Design prize, as well as the Mini Design Award, the Pirelli Pzero competition and the Art Directors Club award. His works have been exhibited in various museums around the world and Otto armchair entered the Permanent Collection of Italian Design. Arslan’s one-offs and limited editions were auctioned by Sotheby’s and Pierre Bergé & Associés. He held lectures, Workshops and Courses at Design faculties in Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Egypt, England and Sweden. Before running his own studio he worked at Studio & Partners (N. Bewick, M. De Lucchi, T. Fritze) for Deutsche Post, British American Tobacco, Zumtobel Staff winning the Design Plus award, at Continuum (Milano – Boston – Seoul) for Motorola, Hewlett Packard, Elan, Voelkl and Samsung winning the Good Design Award and the KIDA Grand Prize.
