Il nome ‘Risogama’ deriva dal pioniere della porcellana di Arita: Yi Sam-Pyeong. Shinji Terauchi, quarta generazione dell’azienda, affascinato dalla porcellana tradizionale Imari ha approfondito la ricerca su questo materiale. Al fianco delle tecniche tradizionali, ora Risogama utilizza nuove tecnologie e macchinari digitali e realizza oggetti che rivisitano l’Imari in chiave moderna.

The name ‘Risogama’ derive from the pioneer of Arita porcelain: Yi-Sam-Pyeong. Shinji Terauchi, the fourth generation of the company, fascinated by the traditional Imari porcelain, deepen the research on this material. Now Risogama uses new digital technologies and machineries to realize products that reconsider Imari in modern context.
